Hot Hot Hot 2015

- First rally of any kind.
- Fishing a drunken German out of the Marina.
- Going on a tender to dinner.
- Diving off a boat and upon surfacing hearing my crew with a look of panic on their faces shouting me to swim back quickly.......... OMG is there a shark behind me? ...... no a buoy has just become available nearer the restaurant.
- Learning the bloody Bumbebee song......
- Reverse mooring with lazy lines.
- Going on a boat crawl....
- Swimming to the pub.
- Drinking a whole vineyard.
- Being told 'not to look'...... which is impossible because you do, and then wish the naked German wasn't there!!!
- Introducing the crew to the concept that ' pouring to the line' is not just for wine.
- Sailing with a furling main.
- Watching all the failed attempts to prize Jenny's hands off the wheel.
- Being amazed when Tally joined the crew and Jenny let her have the wheel.....
- Seeing a marine green grocer (Toni) who also turned into our waiter in the evening.
- Seeing an ice cream boat.
- Watching Gandalf the wizard catch, gut and cook our fish.
- Drinking our second vineyard (not technically a first) but standing up afterwards is.
- Laughing for 7 days with amazing company.
and last but not least. - Not wearing socks for six days because the Commodore had a quiet word........
I'm still smiling. :)
