TRAINING - RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Theory Course

OVERVIEW

If you've already got your Day Skipper qualification, how about taking the next step to RYA Coastal Skipper (Yachtmaster) Theory? These 22 week RYA Coastal Skipper Theory evening classes start on Tuesday 16 September from 7pm to 9pm, instructed by Tony Campion of Second Meridian Training.

The RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster syllabus includes position fixing, course shaping and plotting, tidal knowledge, use of almanacs and admiralty publications, electronic position finding equipment, interpreting forecasts, understanding weather systems and weather predictions using a barometer.
