TRAINING - RYA Day Skipper Theory 2026-27

OVERVIEW

Interested in navigation and skippering skills? This 22-week RYA Day Skipper Theory evening course starts on Monday 14 September, 7pm - 9pm, and is run by HOEOCA member Tony Campion at 2nd Meridian Training.

The RYA Day Skipper and Watch Leader syllabus includes seamanship, coastal navigation and pilotage, chart work, electronic charts, position fixing, plotting a course to steer, tides, weather forecasting and meteorology and collision regulations. Details here.
