Martin Woods leads the July Land Cruise, a 7.5-mile  walk through Stafforsdhire largely on paths through farmland and estate land; there's a few minor up’s and down’s but not much. Discover why the Cock Inn has a tenuous link with Birmingham and the walk also passes a piece of WW2 history at the Fauld Crater.

Meet at 10am for a prompt 10.15am start the Cock Inn, Hanbury, Martin's new local. As ever, you'll need to bring a packed lunch and something to sit on.

For those of you caught up in the conversations about Martin's house hunting and moving over the last 18 months this is a chance to see the result. Or just take it for a great walk. Lunch is planned at the bottom of his garden. For anybody who is interested, the 2-minute house and garden tour will be free on the day. For everybody else it is somewhere to sit for lunch.

If you would like to attend, please drop Martin an email.

Martin will send final joining instructions to those attending nearer the time.
