Helen Miller will lead this month's walk of around 8 miles through the beautiful Warwickshire countryside around Baddesley Clinton.

Meet at 10am for a prompt 10.15am start at the car park for Kingswood Canal junction off Brome Hall Lane in Lapworth, B94 5QZ. The parking is in the wooded area as you take the first turning to the left once you've turned into Brome Hall Lane from the Old Warwick Road, B4439.  Unfortunately, there are no public toilets available at the parking area.

When the walk was recced at the beginning of August a section of the footpath through the Baddesley Clinton was blocked by a fence erected by ST Water, as they run a new pipeline.  We were able to cross it, but as yet, no proper stile has been constructed; we hope this will be remedied by the time of the walk, but if not, prepare for some mountain goat behaviour...

As ever, bring something to sit on and a packed lunch.
