Cruising Area

Our charter will start, slightly inland, from ACI Marina, Skradin, one of the oldest towns in Croatia and gateway to the Krka National Park, famous for its waterfalls. 

From there we will plan to sail, via Sibenik, north toward Zadar, exploring both the coast and the islands, a part of the country we have not visited before.

Flights / Transfers

There are regular flights into both Split and Zadar airports and the base is just under an hour from either. We will look at transfers once plans are known.

You will be responsible for booking your own flight.

Please do not book any flights until your place is confirmed and you are advised to do so.

General

Before booking the trip, you should consider the following:

1. This is a sailing holiday. We like to enjoy seeing places and sampling local food & drink in a sociable environment as well as enjoying the sailing. You will be expected to take part in these activities and contribute to an equally divided boat kitty.

2. We like visiting unspoiled places, so facilities can be basic. We may be at anchor some nights. 

3. We sail as a “mini flotilla” of 4/5 HOEOCA yachts with c 5/6 aboard each boat on a pre-planned route. 

4. Crews will be put together to best use the accommodation & experience available with the overall safety of all being paramount. Whilst we will endeavour to use the cabin space and saloon as best we can, we cannot guarantee that you will not be sharing a cabin.

COST

Estimated charter cost for 7 days is in the region of £500 - £560 p.p. which includes the outboard and free wi-fi. On this occasion, the indemnity insurance is mandatory and so is also included. This protects us against any claims on the refundable deposit per boat which is €2,500.

In addition each boat must purchase a transit log at €260 and there is a €1.50 per person per night tourist tax.

The club facilitates the trip on a cost neutral basis, i.e.  the charter cost is divided by the total number of members participating. All other expenses are shared by boat.

To secure your place, please complete the application form below ASAP & make a BACS payment (Reference Hot 2026) for the £150 non-refundable deposit. Please pay by BACS rather than credit card to save the club charges.
