Some information for you all, prior to the AGM. The Membership of HOEOCA is now at it's highest level ever, with 160 members. We have been gathering two or three new members each month, which is a great achievement, and we hope to thank you all at the AGM, which is on Thursday May 17th, at the Sports Club in Balsall Common. Hope to see a lot of you there!

Site News: Crew Wanted/Available area

Following a query about how & where on the website can you put your Crew Wanted/Available requests, or say that crew will be available on particular times at particular places, or advertise spaces on shared cruises, we realised that there wasn't one.

So - we've now added a section called 'Crew Wanted/Available' in the Members area, so you can advertise these types of places and availability.

Please use wisely!

HOEOCA 2012 Photo Competition

The club would like to invite all members to submit photographs taken during 2012 on ''official'' club events. The photographs will be judged in October and will form part of a proposed HOEOCA Calendar for 2013. The winner will receive due accolades and the odd priceless gift.

There are 4 categories

Boats & Sailing, People & Social, Places & Scenery and Miscellaneous.

and 4 ''official'' club events

Racing in Lanzarote, Race weekends rounds 1,3 & 7, Spring Rally to St Peter Port and HOT HOT HOT to Turkey.

We are looking for a maximum of 16 photos per member, i.e. one submission per category per club event please. That's if you are lucky enough to attend all 4 events.There is NO minimum for submissions, so if you only have one great photo let's see it.

All submissions to (preferably) be uploaded to the Website Members Gallery.Please use the Title - 2012 Photo Competition and label with your name. Your members login will be required to gain access. Any problems please contact a Committee member.

Closing Date -- 13 Oct 2012

All photos will be judged on merit with the Commodore making the final decisions.
